Our olive wood comes from Mediterranean regions and is only processed when the tree no longer bears fruit. This extremely hard wood must be aged for a long time before it can be processed with specialized tools. Thanks to its exceptional hardness (Brinell 5.3), olive wood is particularly scratch-resistant, acid-resistant, antibacterial, and hygienic—ideal for the kitchen.
Olive wood combines natural beauty with exceptional hardness. Its dense structure makes it particularly durable, hygienic, and resistant to odors and acids. Its unique grain, which develops over decades, makes each piece unique and one-of-a-kind—warm, timeless, and sustainable.
Olive wood should be cleaned by hand with lukewarm water and a mild detergent, then dried thoroughly. Avoid dishwashers and prolonged soaking. For long-lasting beauty, regularly rub the wood with a little olive oil – this protects, nourishes, and enhances the grain.
