Our olive wood comes from Mediterranean regions and is only processed when the tree no longer bears fruit. This extremely hard wood must be aged for a long time before it can be processed with specialized tools. Thanks to its exceptional hardness (Brinell 5.3), olive wood is particularly scratch-resistant, acid-resistant, antibacterial, and hygienic—ideal for the kitchen.
